For the design of Coraline, I really wanted to get away from the movie and focus on the book's description. I loved the idea of using the front and back page as a mirror to reflect the real universe and the made up version. For the colour palette I wanted a striking contrast to portray the dark yet at times magical theme that draws Coraline's attention.
